Splice 2.3.1 is a third party application that provides additional functionality to OS X system and enjoys a popularity among Mac users. However, instead of installing it by dragging its icon to the Application folder, uninstalling Splice 2.3.1 may need you to do more than a simple drag-and-drop to the Trash. Splice is an experimental and artistic puzzler. Immerse yourself in its microbial world and start splicing! Immerse yourself in its microbial world and start splicing! Welcome
- To get started with Splice, you want to take a moment to sign up for a free account at splice.com. You'll also have the option to subscribe to Splice Sounds, if you're interested in browsing, auditioning, and downloading from their library of over 500,000 sounds. Let's sign up for an account together. First, we're going to create a username, then we're going to enter our artist name or full name, our email address, and a password. Next we're going to click to accept the Terms of Service, and then Sign Up. You're invited to connect with Gmail and invite your friends, but we're going to skip that for now. I'm going to close out of this. Next, you'll need to download and install the Splice desktop app, available for Windows and Mac operating systems. The app is essential to the Splice experience. It's used to back up and sync your projects, as well as download projects from collaborators and the community. It also allows you to download and manage your samples on Splice Sounds, which you can drag right into your Dock, directly from the desktop app. We just double-click the installer file, and now we're going to double-click the Splice icon. As we can see, Splice is installing on our machine. So Splice is installed, and let's sign in. (computer alert sound) When you install the Splice desktop app, it will create a folder as well as add an icon to your menu bar. This will look slightly different for Mac and PC users, but the app functions the same way for both operating systems. In the app, we'll see our notifications, we'll see a list of projects, and we'll see samples we've downloaded from Splice Sounds. We can also use the Dashboard button in the app to easily navigate to our private studio on Splice. Now that we've signed up for an account and installed the app, let's start by looking at how to sync projects with Splice.

Splice App For Macbook
Not even sure which forum to post this to. I've made up a slide show in iphoto and want to burn it to a dvd. My question is regarding the background music. The slideshow is about 10 minutes long and there are not many songs that long, so I picked 1 song and it repeats. Still with me so far? I would like to splice together 3 songs totaling 10 minutes and use that for the background music. Is there an application (cheap or free preferably) that will do this? Thanks, Mike
